The marking "Bra Arbetsmiljöval"(A Good choice for safe work) is beveloped to increase safety during work at a height.
It means the produkt besides the regular demands required of arbetsmiljöverket to recive a aproval registration that also fulfills a number of harder demands.
The marking is developed by Riksbyggarnas safetygroup, consisting of
Skanska, NCC, Peab, Veidekke, Svevia och JM.
General rules
- Product must be typeapproved.
- Fristanding products must be able to lock when folded out freestanding.
- Maxweight 15kg if the product shall be carried, otherwise wheels is required.
- Stepdepth must be atleast 50mm.
- Fotsteps must be slip-proof.
- Stepdistance can be at most 300mm in distance.
- Product must be equipped with slip-safety or others to prevent sliding.
- Threstle must have steps on both sides unless they have a safety arch.
Heightspecific rules
Different rules of fall-protection and plattformsize depends on the height of the plattform.
Level 1, plattformheight max 0,50 meter
Plattformsize minimum of 600 x 300 mm.
Fallprotection is not needed.
Level 2, plattformheight max 1,25 meter
Plattformsize minimum of 300 x 250 mm.
Fallprotection: stopinstructions on three sides.
Level 3, plattformheight max 2 meter
Plattformsize atleast 400 x 400 mm.
Fallprotection: Rail on atleast 3 sides.
Level 4, plattformheight over 2 meter
Plattformsize atleast 400 x 400 mm.
Fallprotection: Protection on all 4 sides.
