When used as a facade ladder placement on upper edge can vary depending on the design of the roof, but generally goes, that the top rung should be about 3cm above the roof edge or about 10cm above if a standing plate will be assembled. The ladder should start 3m above ground to prevent unauthorized access, to be reached with a adjacent ladder. At fenced areas the ladder can start at ground level with first rung at about 3cm above ground for easy and safe climbing.
